Press Release on the Data Research Center (VERIM) of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has launched the Data Research Center (VERIM) to support and encourage data-driven research by providing researchers with secure access to micro-level data.

VERIM aims to facilitate scientific research in areas aligned with the CBRT Research Agenda—especially monetary policy, price stability, financial stability, and sustainable development—by providing researchers with access to high-quality data. VERIM welcomes collaboration with public institutions, academic institutions, and international organizations.

In accordance with CBRT's secure data access protocols, data will be accessible exclusively through dedicated physical facilities and software infrastructure within the CBRT facilities.

Through VERIM, the CBRT aims to further contribute to scientific research and promote the use of data-driven analysis in policymaking.
