Press Release on Issue of TRY 20 Banknotes of E9 Series, Version VII 

As per the authorization given to the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye by Law No. 1211, the E9 series, version VII banknotes in denomination of TRY 20 will be put into circulation as of October 22, 2025.

Compared to TRY 20 banknotes of E9 series in circulation, the signatures on TRY 20 banknotes of version VII have been rearranged to include the signatures of Governor Fatih Karahan, Ph.D. and Deputy Governor Prof. Hatice Karahan.

Except for the signatures, the new banknotes will be identical to their previous versions with regard to dimensions, obverse and reverse compositions, general features and appearances. 

New versions of these banknotes will be in circulation concurrently with previous ones.
