Governor Erdem Başçı delivered a presentation in the meeting held by Kastamonu Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday, 11 September 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
Governor Başçı emphasized the following points:
- Turkey’s share in world exports has been increasing.
- Net exports contribute positively to growth and rebalancing.
- The Central Bank supports exports through rediscount credits.
- Inflation is expected to decline after temporary increase in food prices lose its effect.
- Tight monetary stance will be maintained until there is a significant improvement in the inflation outlook.
