Press Release on Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting of the CBRT

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey held an Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting on 18 January 2019 in Ankara.

An amendment was made to the Articles of Association of the Bank, allowing the General Assembly to convene within three months following the end of the respective accounting period each year.

In addition, an advance dividend was decided to be paid and accordingly, the distribution of an amount totalling 33.7 billion TL to shareholders has started in line with the related legislation.
